The Freemove Paradigm Shift
When Balz Müller wanted to expand his daily routine into Parawing and Downwind swell riding, he needed a foil that offered instant takeoff and effortless energy retention, yet remained forgiving and easy to handle. The Blackbird 1155 delivers high-end hydrodynamic efficiency packed into an accessible, pitch-stable outline suitable for riders of all levels.
Multi-Profile Flow Management
By engineering a progressive profile variation along the wingspan, the R&D team concentrated volume in the center section for low-speed support and stability. Towards the outer panels, the profile thins out dynamically, dumping drag and allowing smooth acceleration into fast glide phases.
Focus Vortex Tip Design & Safety
The wingtip geometry channels boundary-layer turbulence into a single controlled point. This delivers two crucial performance benefits: a drastic reduction in drag and an increased "virtual wingspan" for maximum pump efficiency. Most importantly, the rounded, blunt outline eliminates sharp edges—offering total peace of mind during aggressive carves or accidental impacts.
